Happy fifteen years of Gladlyinsane.
Today, fifteen years ago, we posted our first video. It was titled Tortilla Slap, which we posted under a series of videos we made under “Baby Jackass.”
When we hit ten thousand subscribers on YouTube, I mentioned how none of us ever expected this to be anything more than some friends having fun and happening to have a camera. Over the last fifteen years, Gladlyinsane has evolved into something I can’t even begin to describe.
I mean, you’re reading a Gladlyinsane newsletter?! From the Gladlyinsane website?! That’s insane! I never would have thought this would be a reality.
Thank you to everyone who heard us out, came out to help us shoot, stood in the background of something, or maybe even acted in a major role for us. It does not go unrecognized. We see you. And we appreciate you. We wouldn’t be here without all of you.
To celebrate fifteen years of *trying* to make people laugh, we have a new series premiering later today titled Where Are They Now? The first episode, “CARLOS” catches us up to date with one of the founding members.
Episode two (“MARK”) premieres next Friday.
